So...what do you think of the "Populate" mechanic?http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=133638&d=1343723640 It's a bit early and I guess there is a bit of doubt if it is legitimate.

Agreed, that second ability is super lame.

With him having that second ability, I speculate that there will be more 'Land Creatures' to utilize said ability.

You'll have a pretty hard time keeping Emrakul in your graveyard since Scavenge is a sorcery ability :-).

I agree cards like dreadnought and Myr Superion, maybe even tarmo... but is it feasible? depends on how much that card would cost, but idk. maybe an enchantment. have little hexproffguy ( stalker) then +12/+12. could be

This is speculative, buttttI'm thinking we might see a reprint of scavenging ooze somewhere in this set due to the flavor of "scavenge" And, there hasn't been a standalone (not reprint) planeswalker printed with the same cmc. For example we have a 3,4, and 5 cmc jace, a 3,4,5 lily, 4,5, 6 chandra etc. Maybe we will see a 2cmc, or a 1ur or uu jace? Thoughts? __________________ Type and hit enter for quick TCG prices: www.echomage.com

My 2 cents on Return to Ravnica:I have seen this picture a lot every time I do some searching for Return to Ravnica. I haven't seen or heard anything confirming this card, so I assume it's a fake. However, if it were real, I would be so excited to see how U/R would work with this card in standard. (I thought of a lame mill deck with the Planeswalkers being Ral Zarek, and Jace Memory Adept.) Anyway, I hope it's real- but I ain't gonna' be disappointed if it's not. This second thought doesn't necessarily pertain to Return to Ravnica, but no one has offered me a counter to this thought: Why are lands reprinted in every set if you could use old ones? I'm not complaining, I just thought about this the other day, and I wanted to see if there was any answer other than "They just can". When I searching for a Return to Ravnica spoiler, I found a page that said 20 cards were revealed. I clicked on that link just to see that it was only lands. The funny thing is that, I even said to myself 'Well, duh there is going to be lands'. __________________ Failing at FNM since 2010!

This day in age, even most cell phone cameras have auto-focus. Its not hard at all to get a shot without it being blurry. Could it be real...maybe, but more than likely not. As for the lands, they like to use them to portray the environment of the plane that they are visiting. To show change over time. Compare Mirrodin basics to Scars and Innistrad to Avacyn Restored. Other than that, its to simply increase supply. Everybody playing needs them. And if they keep adding new players they'll need to have some. Plus, people generally don't value them too highly and use them as proxies or toss them out after drafting so it never hurts to have more.

I agree- I would also think that if it didn't have auto focus, that desk or table would be fuzzy as well. Then again, I am no photographer. quote: As for the lands, they like to use them to portray the environment of the plane that they are visiting.
Never thought of that, and it makes sense. Thanks for the info!

It was my understanding that they also print the basic lands in all sets so that new players have easier access to them without having to either buy a stack of them or purchase a fat pack.__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me.
