KMC costs about the same if you are looking to sleeve up constructed decks, and if you don't care about matte vs. glossy I would choose KMC over ultra-pro, since ultra-pro sleeves can split quite easily if an opponent shuffles them incorrectly. KMC also works great with perfect fits.

Do packs of Innistrad typically contain 14 cards plus 1 token/advertisement and 1 checklist card?I guess they do. http://markrosewater.tumblr.com/post/10497723301/could-you-explain-the-premium-cards-why-it-is Fairly dumb IMHO to count a checklist or token as one my 15 cards.

That checklist card takes up the land slot, so don't get your panties in a bunch over it.

Thanks for the insult. While a land is a rather unexciting card it's still much more exiting than a checklist card I have no use for.

The checklist card is required if you don't use opaque sleeves, and is useful so you don't have to keep pulling your double-faced card in and out of a sleeve. They're actually pretty useful.

There is someone in Memphis who just buys boxes and singles, but doesn't even play. 3 years ago he was in the lgs and bought a foil jace before i had the chance to for $70. Right after it was banned, I offered him cash at his pre-ban price and was turned down. So sometimes cards just end up in binders, boxes, sleeves, etc. never to see the light of day ever again- or the matter, the artificial light of a lgs ever again.

And this is why the secondary market is a joke.

The fake inflation of other cards by holding on to them is a joke. Especially when you're trying to run a game that is trying to increase revenue in popularity. I can understand why wizards cares about the secondary market to some extent however making things like the "reserved" list, is a complete joke.

It's not fake inflation when it is fueled by that person's desire (demand!) to hang onto them. Your understanding of economics is a joke.

Do you know what supply is? Do you know that supply can increase 5-10x fold at any given time?

Clearly Hasbro lawyered up and they decided that they wanted to avoid any possibility of litigation by canning even special shiney reprints.Blame whoever made the list as of 1995 and whoever continued it until 1999. Blame whoever decided that short-printing a 300 card set (Legends) that had a lot of good cards (some of the legends, chain lightning, mana drain, etc) was a good idea. Everybody has moved on. Maro has moved on. I've moved on. Barney has moved on. Joe has moved on. Frank has moved on. Even most of you have moved on.

... You have no idea what you're talking about. Supply of almost anything 'can' increase 5-10x fold at any time. It won't without a good reason (OH HI DEMAND DO YOU TEND TO DRIVE INCREASED SUPPLY OR SOMETHING?). What does this have to do with your "fake inflation" blathering? You seem to think that because there are collectors that they aren't real demand? Or that they are somehow fake inflation because they are willing to buy something that you don't think they should?

I print my dual lands for my casual decks. Nobody seems to complain.

Did anyone do the Magic Online Beta for Cube Tickets this past weekend?I thought I did it correctly but for some reason I didn't get all the tickets. By my understanding you were supposed to get 4 tickets for simply logging on using the Beta client. And then an additional 6 tickets for participating in a constructed, sealed, or draft tournament with at least 8 players. I played in a Pauper Daily event on the 15th definitely using the Beta client so I thought I should have 10 tickets, but I only have 4. If I should have 10, how would I go about fixing that?

Indeed. If you're playing edh or whatever, just proxy up duals if they cost too much.
