That's light asking if "hot" or "beautiful" is more pretty.I've only seen both of those terms used separately as between mint/near mint and moderate play. So: Light Play (LP) / Slightly Played (SP) Medium Play/Moderately Played (MP) Heavy Play (HP) If someone makes a differentiation between LP and SP, you have to ask them. In general, you might want to make sure you're both on board with what LP/SP means. One person may think it means only slight whitening along the edges and another person think it means "no bends or creases".

Well, what if his thread title was something to the tune of, "Trading Down some UNL Power (Ancestral, Time Walk, Twister)"?

So, any suggestions on how to prove unquestionably that someone is wrong on a ruling? This guy used to be a judge, and wants to play Valakut and Blood Moon because it's a totally awesome combo and it was recently played at a Pro Tour. He is sure that Blood Moon only adds the Mountain type, not that it completely hoses non-basic land such as Valakut.__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. I think this is all you need: 305.7. If an effect sets a land's subtype to one or more of the basic land types, the land no longer has its old land type. It loses all abilities generated from its rules text and its old land types, and it gains the appropriate mana ability for each new basic land type. Note that this doesn't remove any abilities that were granted to the land by other effects. Setting a land's subtype doesn't add or remove any card types (such as creature) or supertypes (such as basic, legendary, and snow) the land may have. If a land gains one or more land types in addition to its own, it keeps its land types and rules text, and it gains the new land types and mana abilities. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? Only way I can see that MAYBE working is if Valakut and a bunch of mountains enter play at same time (Say Scapeshift) with a blood moon in play, I'm thinking you'd still get the triggers. but that's literally only way I see it working. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. nope, still won't work. They enter play as a mountain.

So does any one have any advice on how to pick up 80,000 cards off the floor? Some one broke into my house while I was at work... They took about $2,800 in woodworking tools, my ipod shuffle, ipod classic, my digital camera, and proceded to dump just about every box of cards out on the floor. Every box was sorted by set then buy color.... on top of that as some of you my know I was trying to collect a playset of every set well they took all the pages out of the binders and toss them on the floor too. Its such a mess I have no clue where to start. Luckly my deathlaces and some power were at my gf's house as my neigbor had been broke in to 4 times in 9 days. When they broke into his house they took his ladder and used that to break into my house. I'm thinking now is the time down size the collection.

Jeez Timmy that's terrible! As for re-sorting, I would guess the only way is the hard way unfortunately. As for downsizing, its a bit of a conundrum. It's like wanting to trade in a Mercedes for a Cavalier for fear the Mercedes will be hijacked... I wouldn't downsize the collection solely for this reason, but then again, it'd be tough to be in your shoes after something like that happens. Sorry friend!__________________ Starting the bulk rare collection all over! Send them my way!

If you live in Toronto Canada, I can provide the services of someone with pretty serious OCD that expresses itself in a desire to sort and organize things. Could do 80,000 cards in probably a couple days at most.

The only reason Im thinking of downsizing is cause I don't think I really need 80,000 cards and since I don't really want to have to pick up that many cards its prolly time to move some of them. Some might view it as over reacting but I went ahead and got an alarm system installed and now do day I'm installing a 16 channel DVR... The cameras are really for everyone at my end of the street, this way if the break in keep up I might actualy get them on camera and maybe catch the person.

I've been downsizing my collection since June and it's the best way to go for a collection Instead of having boxes over boxes of complete sets and ovrstock, you get to sell them and buy duals/moxens/fetches/FoW and anything else you might want for decks/to collect. So the collection is worth the same but instead of 80 000 cards you'll have less than 1000. __________________ ''Jesus never existed.... I never had a son.''-Eric Maltais.

1721 is above average. You can only see your own ratings.

really? above average? do we even know what the average is? all we know is the starting point.since at any time you can get a free acount(with a 10 dollar purchase). 90% of anyone who plays for some time will have a rating above 1700 id think?

I've been really board these past few days, bc I've drafted enough RTR to achieve a full playset to redeem. So after putting in my order for redemption, I figured I needed something else to do, bc I really don't want to RTR draft anymore. I built a U/W Control RTR Block Constructed deck.....so far I've been doing the 1v1's(8 man never fill up). Current record is 8-0.here is my list 3x Azorius Guildgate 4x Hallowed Fountain 9x Plains 9x Island 1x Rouge's Passage 3x Azorius Keyrune 2x Cyclonic Rift 4x Azorius Charm 1x Fall of the Gavel 2x Syncopate 4x Sphinx's Revelation 4x Detention Sphere 4x Jace, Architect of Thought 4x Supreme Verdict 2x Sphinx of the Chimes 4x Angel or Serenity SB:
3x Security Blockade 3x Rest in Peace 2x Sundering Growth 4x Dispel 3x Mizzium Skin
