I don't think there's anything about sideboarding, no. I'm just saying that if people are going to do stuff like that here when we're playing for fun, there's no reason for me not to run things that might make it less fun for other people at the table, as long as it's still fun for me (which is basically what he went out of his way to do). So yeah, running Reassembling Skeleton and Bitterblossom as soon as I can get my hands on one, with Contamination/Braids/Smokestack/whatever, and I have my infinite mana combos as soon as the cards get shipped to me.  In other news, my Sun Quan deck is finished, just missing the snow-covered islands/scrying sheets deal which is nice but not necessary. Played it today and it won with unblockable Blightsteel Colossus. Really need to get to the point where I have no maximum hand size each game and might need something better than just one Devastation Tide as a boardwipe. I guess run an All is Dust and Nevinyrarl's Disk or something. I also got my P3K stuff shipped to me today so I can start looking at whether anything there is useful  Already put Lu Xun and Sun Ce in my Sun Quan deck!

How do you guys feel about Mox Diamond in edh? I'm thinking of running it in Kaalia for some mana fixing, thoughts?

I dislike card disadvantage. There are very few decks I'd ever run it in. For Kaalia I'd rather have a signet.

I'm trying to make a Kuon deck. I'm fairly new to EDH and just wanted to make it fun but powerful enough to not get crushed. Anthems are normally only playable (eg, really really good) in tribal/token decks, so I consider Coat of Arms the defacto best one. That and it's colorless. Surprised that you mentioned Mirari's Wake as best of the rest though.

That was the direction that I thought it was going to head towards. Even in a mono-white, Elesh Norn is still stronger than a combo anthem/mana-doubler like Caged Sun/Gauntlet of Power. Homura ain't a slouch either.

How so? Omniscience at the right time pretty much lets you get everything in one shot and knock everyone out of the game in one shot. (Not to mention, you don't get to do infinite Corrupts.) Without it, the only real infinite combo you can do is Tamiyo + Seismic Assault.

Conflux combo decks were around before Omniscience was printed. They are just as viable with or without having a extra, more powerful Dream Halls.
