can anyone answer this ? I'd like to know this as well. I think it'll stay on the ground though. I have a question; if I have two oath of druids out and fewer creatures than my opponent, can I oath twice or just once?

if after the first one resolves you still have less creatures, then the 2nd one will also go off.

1. Giving Morphling flying after Mystic Decree is in play will still allow Morphling to fly. When Mystic Decree comes into play, it removes flying from all creatures, and will do so with each creature that comes into play afterwards. However, giving a creature flying after it has 'lost' it, will let it fly again. 2. Both Oath of Druids will trigger at the beginning of your upkeep if you have fewer creatures. When either of them try to resolve, they check to make sure you still have fewer creatures. If you do, you Oath as normal, if not, it does nothing. Having multiple Oaths out gives you the chance to do fun stack tricks. quote: Originally posted by sawa boon: have a callous oppressor ( not quite sure about the name of the card) in play, and my opponent named zombie. on his side, he has only 3 zombies in play. It's my turn and my opponent activate the ability of a zombie (again forgotten the zombie's name), that creature of the type he name must attack this turn, and he named cephalid ( the callous is a cephalid). I don't want my cephalid to attack. therefore, before i announce combat, i choose to tap it and gain control a non-zombie creature of my own, just to keep the callous tapped so that iot couldn't attack. My opponent, a 'proffesional' player, says that that would not be possible coz the target is illegal. i argued that the text says" .. gain control of target creature that isn't..." its doesn't say whoever controls it.
You are right. The only targeting condition is that the creature can't be of the chosen type. quote: Originally posted by PlasteredDragon: In other words, if someone Solar Blasts my Glarecaster, can I redirect the damage at a pro-red creature? Will the damage be reduced to zero?
Yes and yes. Glarecaster redirects the damage, but the damage is still red. __________________ You can't cheat an honest man.

1. Does Energy Field + Planar Void really mean you can't take damage, even if you play a spell and it goes to the graveyard?2. A permanent doesn't have to be in play for it's effct to resolve once it's been put on the stack, does it? (Disk + Capsize; Feldon's Cane + disk) Thanks!

1. No. Planar Void has an ability that triggers when a card is placed in the graveyard; the same time Energy Field's ability would trigger. Planar Void doesn't prevent something from going to the graveyard, it just removes it from the game once it is there. However, if you have Yawgmoth's Agenda in play, the combo does work because Agenda's ability is a replacement effect; the card never reaches the graveyard. Also, keep in mind the Energy Field doesn't prevent all damage to you; just damage to you from sources you do not control. 2. Not unless it says so in it's latest rules text (for example, Parallax Wave or Parallax Tide). Disk/Capsize works, however, Feldon's Cane removes itself from the game as part of the cost on its ability, so you wouldn't be able to reshuffle it. quote: Feldon's Cane {Tap},Remove ~this~ from the game: Shuffle your graveyard into your library.

Just a couple of questions:1. If i have Braids and Grinning Demon in play can i put the demon's ability on the stack and then braids' so that i can sac the demon to her and the i don't have to lose the 2 life? Or do i still lose the life anyway? 2. If i Clone a roar of the wurm token and someone then aether bursts my Clone does it go back to my hand or not? I know they may sound stupid but i don't know the answers and neither do my friends. Thanks! __________________ "Madness is just a point of view" Starter of the Spy Network debate.

1. You still lose the life. Grinning Demon's ability goes on the stack just as Braids' does, and removing the source of an ability doesn't remove the ability itself. 2. Yes, it will return to your hand since Clone is a card, regardless of what it copies. __________________ You can't cheat an honest man.

Does metalworker have summoning sickness if he's already been in play once that turn? (Upheaval)

All creatures have summoning sickness, be them artifact, land, red, or what not. ~edit~: oh, I missred your question. Your mettal worker will regain summoning sickness when ever it comes into play. For your creature to not have sommoning sickness it has to have been in play since the beging of your turn. Your metelworker's short trip to your hand will cost him. Now im confused because I thought that if you removed a creature from the game (say with astral slide) that it did not have summoning sickness. Perhapse some one elce can better answar your question.

If i have an Angelic Curator out and my opponent has a masticore, does having the creature with pro artifacts prevent the core from attacking. Along the same lines - if i have two creatures with pro the other (white and black knight lets say), can either attack?another: If i have a Spellbook out, do any of the thought creatures effect my hand at all since i have no maximum hand size? __________________ Collect: Phyrexian Infiltrator = 15 Wild Research = 13 Cops & Rops = 148 Click on - ONE SITE TO RULE THEM ALL!

Yes. A creature without haste cannot attack or use an ability with the tap symbol unless it has been in play since the beginning of your turn. Samus, a creature coming back after having been removed via Astral Slide will have summoning sickness. quote: Originally posted by fresh-o-clean: if u play a creature in its morph form and someone burns it or kills it, can u pay its morph cost? or does it just die all together?
If it dies, it dies; once it is in the graveyard, there is nothing you can do about it. However, you can pay the morph cost in response to a burn spell or combat damage to flip it over. This would be useful if somebody cast Shock at your face-down creature; you could pay the morph cost before the Shock resolves, and if your creature has a power greater than two while face-up, Shock will not kill it. quote: Originally posted by Denizen: If i have an Angelic Curator out and my opponent has a masticore, does having the creature with pro artifacts prevent the core from attacking. 1. No, it will not prevent him from attacking. However, you could block the Masticore with the Curator, and the Curator wouldn't die. 2. Both of them could still attack. Protection doesn't stop creatures from attacking. Here's what protection does: A permanent with protection from [quality] can’t be targeted by [quality] spells, targeted by abilities from a [quality] source, or enchanted by [quality] enchantments. Such enchantments enchanting the permanent with protection will be put into their owners’ graveyards as a state-based effect. If a creature with protection attacks, it can’t be blocked by [quality] creatures. In addition, all damage dealt to it from [quality] sources is prevented. 3. Nope. Your hand size has no limit from which the Thought creatures can subtract. __________________ You can't cheat an honest man.

Say someone shocked your morph guy and you morphed it into an exalted angel for example it would not die, as you can morph it in response but they can't respond to you morphing it with say another shock. __________________ Fly, mana bird... I don't know if this has been mentioned or is obvious...but if you play a morph creature (say Exalted Angel), and you use astral slide on it, does it come back as the exalted angel or a morph card?

No. You aren't playing the land you fetched, just putting into play. __________________ You can't cheat an honest man.

This one should be pretty easy but I am not too sure on the "newer" rules. If i block a 2/3 with a mishra's factory (assembly worker) and I tap it to give it +1/+1 the creature dies and the factory survives under the current rulings correct? I think under the old rulings it wouldn't deal any combat damage since it was a tapped blocker. Anyways thanks for any help.

Correct. Under the new rules, tapped blockers still deal combat damage.

Say an opponent attacked me with a creature and I activate a Treetop Village, Mishra's Factory, etc. My opponent then cast lightning bolt on the village/factory. Do I have time to declare it as a blocker before it dies? Either way, can whoever answers the question explain why?__________________ Oh beautiful for smoggy skies insecticides it rains for strip mined mountains majesty above the asphalt plain America, America Man sheds it's waste on me and hide the pines with billboard signs from sea to oily sea --George Carlin
