It's just like if you Disk away a whole bunch of black cards with Compost in play: you may draw a whole bunch of cards.

Squirrel Nest puts creatures into play, and the Tainted Aether triggers after the squirrels are in play, so they can be sacrificed to the effect. 2) No. You can't regenerate a creature that has been sacrificed. __________________ You can't cheat an honest man.
